Our Preschool Ministry is for children ages 3 & 4. It’s amazing how receptive children at this age are to God’s presence and how they soak up His love! Each week, our teachers lead a lesson based on the Bible, using games and arts & crafts to help plant the truth into the minds and hearts of the children.
Our goal for the preschool ministry is to teach basic biblical truths in a Holy Spirit-filled way. When we teach familiar Bible stories such as Zacchaeus in the sycamore tree, we hope that the lesson isn’t just about a funny short man that nobody liked. We want to teach the children that they always have Jesus’ attention and that they can wait on Him, call out to Him, hear His voice saying, “I want to hang out with you! I think you’re pretty special!” They are taught how to listen to His voice, to lay their hands on the sick – all with childlike faith.
Preschoolers begin their Sunday with their parents in the sanctuary and are dismissed for Sunday School after the worship time.
